Sequel to The Unbearable Burden of Caring, Draco and Harry are together, and the wizarding world is NOT happy about it. Draco ends up being arrested for war crimes, and Harry and his friends try their best to get him out.
Draco is put through a LOT in this story, abuse and self harm at the top of that list. He still feels so guilty, in spite of finding love with Harry. He thinks he deserves what he is getting, and has little hope of being free again.
My only real complaint with this one is, once again, the ending felt rushed. Chapter 8 ends with Draco in Azkaban, sentenced to the Kiss. Harry has asked the Minister to pardon Draco, based on the fact that Draco was a child when he did most of what he did. The Minister visits Draco. In chapter 9, it's over, Draco has had a shower and is walking out of the prison. I really wanted the scenes where Draco and Harry both learn that he has been pardoned, and felt a bit robbed that that part was skipped.
