REALLY enjoyed this one. The only things that kept this from being a 5 star read from me was I felt the fairy tales, while very good, kept dragging me out of the real story, so I found myself skimming them, and there were a few plot details that I would have liked to have seen given more detail.

This story was quite non-canon. The only real similarities to the show are, Derek is a wolf, Stiles' mom died when he was a kid, and Kate's still a crazy bitch.

I would have liked to know HOW Kate was Laura's Mate's grandmother, how a hunter's granddaughter ended up mated to a wolf and I wanted Stiles to be more aware of Scott's change, his difficulties. I kept waiting to see him there on a full moon, comforting Scott while he struggled, but that never happened.
