What a wonderful series! The mysteries are so well done, I never guess who the real villain is. (although there are plenty of bad guys in this series!) I also love watching Cole and Jae grow closer, and the side stories are great. I was mad at Jae's awful family, and then I met Cole's. With the exception of Mike and his wife Maddy, that family is cold and cruel. The kids might be ok, that remains to be seen. And unlike the first book of this series, this one ends with a bit of a cliffhanger, with news from his dead mother's part of the world.
My only complaint about this series is that I get a bit lost in all the Korean words, foods, and names, and sometimes forget who's supposed to be who, but that's a small price to pay for such an awesome ride.
