This was a short and oh so hot story set in the Cut & Run universe, about Nick and Kelly, two of Ty's Sidewinder team members and closest friends.

If you've read Touch & Geaux, you know that Kelly was shot. (if you haven't read it, sorry for the spoiler!) Nick goes home with Kelly to take care of him until he's better. Kelly has found himself questioning things over the past year, since he found out Nick swung both ways, and that Ty was committed to Zane, another man. If it works for them, why not him and Nick? So he asks Nick to kiss him, just to see what it's like. He likes it. A LOT.

And so begins the dance of Nick and Kelly, a lot of really hot not quite sex scenes. Ok, no one was fucked, but it was totally sex and totally hot. Nick is wary, not wanting to take advantage of Kelly while he's still injured and on pain meds, but they do a lot of fooling around, and a bit of talking about the situation.

Then the Sidewinder boys get called back into active duty, forcing Kelly and Zane to wait at home for their men.

Next we get another short, Bait & Switch, where Nick comes home for 48 hours, bringing a letter to Zane from Ty, and then he spends the rest of the time with Kelly, where they have even more sex, real sex this time. Not much real plot to be found, just these two men exploring things together.

Maybe Kelly's sudden questioning of his sexuality, and his easy acceptance of sex with Nick was a bit farfetched, but I don't read this series for it's realism anyway, so who really cares? Short, sweet, sexy, and dirty. Oh, these men are oh so dirty together, and I loved it.
