I admit that I put this book off for a long time. All the comparisons to Lora Leigh's Breeds series put me off, because I just can not with all the mating heat "fuck or die" plots, or all the clenching, creaming, burning, and icky sounding sex.But I really enjoyed Fury. This man is almost as much animal as he is man, and very possessive. I did get a bit tired of his anger at the beginning, even once the situation with Ellie had been explained to him. Then, it felt like the romance skipped a few steps, from " I want to kill you!" to "lets live together, MINE", to love. All in all though, I thought this was a pretty well written world, one I didn't even wait to get back to, as I started the next book in the series almost as soon as I finished Fury.
