I read this one through in pretty much one sitting, once I got going. Avery was pretty broken when this book started, and it really took her a long time before any growth was seen. Cam was a total dream, he was kind and caring, flirty and funny, and most of all, very patient with Avery and her issues. Not exactly "you my woman!" alpha, I could read about guys like Cam every day. We don't get enough gorgeous regular guys in our books, they always have to be some kind of alpha male bad ass, or just plain bad boy with a heart of gold buried deep inside.I almost lost patience with Avery a few times. I know she had her issues. I understood that, I got where they came from, and god, did she have every right. But after a while, I just wanted her to stop and realize that Cam of all people would NEVER judge her like everyone she used to know did. I wanted to cheer when she finally woke up and told him everything.This was my first book by this author. It did have a few editing issues, wrong words used here and there, but not enough to really drag me out of the story. I guess these days, a read with so few errors is actually a very good thing. I will be checking out more by this author though, and soon.
