This was just a really cute, fluffy, holiday story. A kind of a take on Goldilocks and the Three Bears, with Frankie as Goldie, and Marcus and his friends as the three bearish lumberjacks.

Frankie is driving home from his parents, when he takes a REALLY wrong turn, and ends up in the middle of Bumfuck, Minnesota, in the middle of a huge blizzard. He asks for directions at a little cafe, and takes note of three burly bear type men, exactly the type of men who make like miserable for swishy gay men like himself. Frankie can't get out of this cafe fast enough, and is quickly on his way. A near brush with a moose, and Frankie is stranded, and the snow is falling fast. He manages to find a cabin with the doors unlocked, no one home, so he lets himself in, and falls asleep on the couch.

Who should find him, but the three bears from the cafe? Only they are not what he feared, and they might actually be worse. They are all three gay, so no worried there, but he finds himself attracted to the grumpy bear, which can't be good, can it?

Marcus is the grumpy, papa bear type. Frankie is just the type of man he has always been attracted to, unfortunately, Marcus has a "he done me wrong" situation in his past, and now he's afraid to trust. Will he get his head out of his ass before it's too late?

This story does have that bit of instalove about it, but it didn't detract from the story at all. It even made a bit of sense, and they did spend enough time apart to decide it wasn't just a "caught in a blizzard" flash in the pan.

There are also plenty of other yummy men in this book, so I know we have some good stories to look forward to. I'm kinda hoping for a three way relationship between the other two bears and one of Frankie's roommates. The two bear don't give each other what they need, but obviously SOMETHING fairly big is between them, otherwise they wouldn't have the kind of relationship that they have. I think a third would be just the ticket for these two lonely bears, and I hope that that's where this is going.
